His Majesty is going home
November 7, 2007
The medical reports on His Majesty's condition that we have seen so far have been rather brief. This one is much more detailed and, thankfully, it indicates very clearly why doctors believe he can now leave the hospital. His elder sister, Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, however, will likely stay in hospital for some time to come.If you are interested in comparing today's medical report with those issued after His Majesty was first admitted to the hospital, click here.
Update 11:50 a.m.: His Majesty the King has just left Siriraj Hospital. He looked alert and in good spirits and carried on several short conversations with some of the many important people there to wish him well.
